Getting Started with Corefact EDDM
You’ve asked. We’ve listened. Corefact now offers EDDM! EDDM targets a geographical area using mail carrier routes, ensuring that every address on the route receives your postcard. It offers cheaper postage, a large format, and route saturation.
Choose from our Just Listed and Just Sold templates or upload your own design. Corefact EDDM comes in the following sizes: 6” x 11” and 6” x 12” Super Jumbo postcards or a 8.5” x 11” Flat Mailer. After you’ve uploaded or selected your template, enter the city or ZIP Code into our user-friendly targeting map, choose your mail carrier routes and dominate your targeted area.
What’s the main difference between EDDM and traditional direct mail?
In a nutshell: personalization and pricing.
Traditional direct mail includes variable data. This includes a homeowner’s name, address, and their home on a map. With EDDM, every mailer is exactly the same: no variable data is included. Mail does not have to be scanned as they are generic for each recipient in the selected carrier route.
EDDM is a cost-effective mailing solution for geographical farming. The cost for a Super Jumbo EDDM mailer at a quantity of 500 is .59. A Super Jumbo traditional direct mail postcard at the same quantity is .83 per piece. That’s a cost savings of $120.
EDDM is about one-third the cost of traditional direct mail because the post office doesn’t have to touch it. The pieces don’t have to be scanned as they are generic to each recipient in the selected carrier route.
More Bang for Your Buck
Get a two-sided Super Jumbo postcard or full-page mailer that costs less than a direct mail mini-sized postcard. It’s also true that EDDM standard sizes are generally larger and go up to a full 8 ½ x 11 flat mailer. Because there is more space, people tend to overwork the extra space, resulting in a crowded and sometimes unreadable format.
ZIP Code Domination
Carrier routes are geographical regions covered by a postal carrier within a 5-digit ZIP Code area. The number of addresses on each route can vary between 200 to 2000. You can purchase as many carrier routes as you want with EDDM. Keep in mind you are charged per/address, not per/carrier route. This means if you want to dominate by saturating carrier routes or ZIP Codes, you can. Just know it could get pricey.
Refine your target based on the demographics of each route. Show the percentage range of ages for each route and display a radius around your marker.
